Review
Audio and Video Transcriptions *
Text can now be generated for Audio and Video files. Transcription can be done in a bulk process via the ‘Generate Text’ action, or on a doc-by-doc basis via the ‘Transcribe’ button found in the native and text component.
Search Inclusions
Searches can now be run to consider and return additional documents responsive to Families, Near Duplicates, and Email Threads data.
Using inclusions will include documents outside of the direct hit documents, based on the inclusion chosen. Example, if ‘Family’ inclusion is selected, all direct hits and family members will be included in the results.
Shared Searches
Users can now share saved searches with other users. All shared searches, both shared by you and shared to you, can be found in the new ‘Shared’ tab on the search page.
Produced Document Name Fields are Now Clickable
‘Produced Document Name’ values are now clickable in all document list contexts, where clicking on the name navigates you to that produced version in the viewer.
Viewer Panels are Now Resizable
The vertical panels separating the viewer tabs (left) from the document viewer (right) can now be dragged and dropped to render a preferable and custom layout. This is especially useful if more than one tab is being viewed (ex. Family and Coding).
Hovering over the grey vertical bars will display a blue line indicating that they can be dragged.
Document Navigation Speed Optimizations
When in a document list, the next documents in a list are “pre-loaded”, which makes them render much faster in the viewer. During our tests, a 22 MB PDF went from 8.5 seconds render to 2 seconds.
File Type Icons Have Been Added to All Document Lists
- All document lists now have file type icons listed to the left of the document names.
- Hovering over the icon will show a tool tip with the document’s extension.
Produced Document Navigation Optimization
Before this release, navigating from a produced document to the next document would always land you on the original – regardless of if the next document was produced or not. Now, if you are on a produced document, and the next document is produced, you will see the produced document – not the original.
File Type Has Replaced File Extension for Admin Dashboard Graphs
The “loaded by”, “reviewed by”, and “produced by” graphs now have file type as selectable options, replacing the file extension option.
Administrative
Folder Properties
The new ‘Properties’ selection listed in the folders actions menu opens a dialog including relevant folder information, such as who created the folder, when the folder was created, component counts, component sizes, and total size of folder (ex. 213 MB).
Document Set Comparison Report Performance Improvements
The speed at which document set comparison reports are generated has greatly improved.
Reviewed Date Has Been Added to Document Metadata
This field outlines all review dates for a document and can be added to document lists or exported in CSVs.
Metadata Exclusions for Redacted and Slipsheeted Documents
Users can now choose whether individual metadata and coding fields are included or excluded on production, for redacted and slipsheeted documents.
Default production values cannot be excluded, and metadata exclusions are only applicable for slipsheets where the native file was withheld.
‘Skip documents with images’ Checkbox Has Been Added to the Bulk Image Dialog
- This checkbox is selected by default and should:
- Reduce the risk of users overwriting third party images.
- Reduce the time it takes to isolate documents that need images.
